Jan-Erik Andersson (b. 1954) is a Finnish artist based in Turku whose works deal with primary biological, psychological and sociological energies of being human - loving, constructing, communicating, eating, dreaming, playing. Since 1980 he has created installations, performances, public art works, interactive media works, and architecture. His works have been shown internationally, among others by Tate Liverpool and the Henry Moore Institute. In 2013 he took part in the Venice Biennale.
